AT Contracting & Plant Hire are delighted to report that we have been commissioned by Mold Investments Ltd to construct the first of four engineered landfill cells.

Works will comprise the installation of a permanent new site compound, weigh-bridge and associated infra-structure. The initial earthworks phase of the cell construction works will require over 250,000m3  of excavations followed by the installation of a groundwater collection system.

An engineered mineral liner of over 50,000m3  will subsequently be installed, followed by 20,000m2  of geo-synthetic clay liner and a 2mm HDPE fully welded liner. Additionally, we will be installing a protection layer and an associated leachate drainage system.

As with every project that we undertake, our site team will work closely with the site operator to ensure that any works avoid disruption to what is already a busy quarrying operation.
