Landfill contracts and associated services are our core business, with projects throughout the UK for a client base which ranges from local authorities to private licensed operators. We have vast experience in the provision of a variety of landfill services, including excavation and earthworks to form cells; lining of cells; capping; gas and leachate management systems; together with planned and reactive site infrastructure works. We’re fully knowledgeable in the regulatory framework that governs client operations, in particular the Environment Agency’s requirements.

QUARRYING

We’re market leaders within the quarrying industry, utilising our extensive range of large earthmoving equipment to fulfil client requirements, specialising in materials handling and processing. We’re also experts in quarry infrastructure projects such as bulk earthworks and haul road construction.

Concrete Remediation

We have a range of advanced repair and protection systems that provide durable solutions for concrete repair and degradation, with structural integrity being fully reinstated and seamless repairs improving the aesthetics of ageing concrete structures.

OUR IN-HOUSE DESIGN AND BUILD SERVICE

We offer support at every stage of our projects with an in-house Design and Build Service which includ es:

• Full project management from start to completion
• Undertaking of all site construction works by a team of highly experienced staff and managers
• Production of design drawings and amendments as required
• Production of detailed “as built” drawings for inclusion in Verification reports
• Upfront and on-going liaison with regulatory bodies such as The Environment Agency, local authorities, planners and Natural England
• Comprehensive monthly progress reports
• Production of minutes of meetings held and agendas as required
• Full on-site and office back up from in-house surveying team
• Full on-site and office back up from in-house environmental engineering specialists.

We undertake a wide variety of building projects in environmentally sensitive locations such as Sites of Special Scientific Interest (SSSIs), including crossings of main rivers and watercourses; and projects that impact on protected and invasive species of both flora and fauna, for example bats, natterjack toads, owls and newts. AT offer a fully integrated approach on projects where careful consideration must be taken to satisfy the requirements of regulators in order to obtain all relevant licenses. A number of our projects have involved improving or creating protected species habitats, as well as operations in archaeological sensitive areas such as ancient burial grounds, Roman ruins and settlements.

We are a Licenced Waste Carrier and regularly invest in specialist plant and equipment to assist in specific environmentally sensitive projects.
